Loss

October 2, 2011

This morning I woke up in a panic. The thoughts of all I ate last night, while it wasnt awful was creeping in my head. We had planned to get up early so we could hit the road and while hub was in the shower I couldn't help but drop to the floor and do some pushups and my 50 hollow rocks... it felt good to actually do something!

We had our coffee and we were on the road. We decided again to wait as long as we could before we had a Lara bar. I made it till about 11:00 and Hubs held out till around 1:30. We took a different route home so our 5.5 hour car ride was on schedule to only take 5.5 hours which was nice.

We just wrapped up our dinner of angus burgers (on romaine lettuce), sweet potato chips and salad. It was delish! Tomorrow we get back on track and begin another week. Looking forward to the morning, waking up and getting to CFW! I have an addition... and it makes me happy.

I know this is a motivational blog, however I need to share, today on our way home I was informed of the loss of a very dear friend of my family. I have known him my whole life and he lost his battle this morning. Please remember how short life is, take care of yourself, your body and your mind.  Hug you friends and loved ones, you never know when the last time you see them will be.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
